Chez Vel-DuRay is, as you might imagine, a bellweather. A showcase of art, as it were. Through the years, I have been constantly on the prowl, scouring the thrift shops for art of rare taste and culture. Today, we have a new set for our collection. It is by the extremely well-known artist Allan Noonan, and previously graced the walls of a top-shelf restaurant in Renton, one of Our Better Suburbs.
A casual glance, by someone of a loutish personality, might think that the top and bottom paintings are the same. As you have undoubtedly noticed, they are not. The colors are slightly different. The bottom one is entitled "Summer Fruit", while the top one is just "Fruit"
The pictures are located in the Main Dining Room, just adjacent to the Sala Grande, and near the balcony.
